Qatar official test

The final test of the preseason

During the first three days of March, the Moto GP riders rolled for the last time this preseason at the Losail circuit in Qatar. In this same layout will take place the first race that will start the season on March 18.

For Dani Pedrosa these tests were marked by the fall he suffered during the first day where he crashed in turn 2 receiving a strong blow to his left hand that made him miss the remaining three hours of training. He was able to run the next two days getting a better time of 1'54'774 on the track but the pilot had annoyance in his injured hand, limiting the driver and the team to only make configuration tests.

Marc Marquez had a best time of 1'54'591. The actual champion also suffered a fall in turn 2 due to the temperature drop that came in the evening when Marc was rolling with a hard front tire. This caused that it had to roll with his second motorcycle, fact that the equipment had not planned but that ended up being positive since the sensations were better for the Catalan.

During the last session the riders had the opportunity to ride in the wet thanks to the circuit management that organized a special test during the last hour, soaking the track artificially. Thus concluded the last test of the preseason, on the same track where the 2018 season will begin.
