SPEED, CONSISTENCY AND PODIUMS IN THE ESBK

At Puig, we celebrate another outstanding weekend in the Spanish Superbike Championship (ESBK) and the BG12 Trophy, where the riders and teams we support as technical sponsor once again showcased their talent with one victory, several podium finishes and the fastest lap in the Supersport class.

In the ESBK, Team Speed Racing was one of the standout teams thanks to Marcos Ludeña, who claimed victory in the first Supersport race and crossed the finish line in second place in Race 2. He also set the fastest lap of the weekend with a time of 1:54.046, confirming his excellent pace throughout the event.

The Supersport category also brought plenty of reasons to celebrate thanks to Yeray Ruiz, who finished third in the opening race. He was in contention for another podium in Race 2 before a crash forced him to retire. Meanwhile, Javier Palomera secured an impressive second place in the first race, adding another podium finish for Team Laglisse. His teammate, Javier Artime González, also stepped onto the podium after taking victory in the BG12 Trophy, a challenge held within the ESBK in memory of rider Borja Gómez.

In Sportbike, Beñat Fernández, from Kove Racing Team 109, maintained a highly competitive pace throughout the weekend. After finishing third in the opening race, he improved to an excellent second place in Race 2.
