MotoGP 2018
This week at the Sepang circuit, the first official Moto GP tests of the year took place. Our Honda team drivers have had three days of hard work.
As usual in Malaysia, meteorology has been the protagonist, conditioning the rhythm of the training the first two days where the rain made an appearance. However, it did not prevent the riders from rolling on the track.
Marc Márquez was seventh in his best time compared to the rest of the drivers on the three days of Test, achieving a time of 1'59.382 as the best overall mark. Dani Pedrosa was more irregular, being first, twelfth and second respectively and scoring a best time of 1: 59.009. Both pilots recognize the work they have done with their teams during these days, claiming to have done their homework underlining the motor, electronic and aerodynamic tests carried out.
The next appointment will be at the Buriram in circuit in Thailand from February 16 to 18 where the following tests are scheduled. After that, all the teams will travel to Qatar where will take place the first race of the season on March 18th.
