This aerodynamic improvement will reduce the discomfort for the rider's helmet in areas where high speeds are reached, such as the straight of a circuit.
It has been developed with virtual wind tunnel technology, providing a better feeling of protection and comfort without affecting the Cx. Thanks to its greater height compared to the original dome, it diverts the wind that hits the helmet and shoulders, achieving better aerodynamics.
The R-Racer dome is available in transparent, light smoke, dark smoke, glossy black, and matte black, so you can choose the one that best matches your GSX-8R.
Designed and manufactured at Puig's facilities located next to the Circuit of Catalunya - Barcelona, using the most advanced technologies in the field and benefiting from extensive experience in high competition.
It is made of 3 mm thick high-impact acrylic material, ensuring a lightweight piece with high resistance to UV rays and possible impacts and scratches, in addition to providing perfect transparency when looking through it.
With dimensions of 305 mm wide by 385 mm high. The Puig R-Racer dome is 85 mm taller than the original Suzuki GSX-8R dome.
The assembly has some difficulty since it is necessary to dismantle part of the upper fairing to remove the dome. However, despite this apparent difficulty, Puig provides a video that facilitates the steps to follow for dome assembly, which can be done in an hour.
No mechanical knowledge or specialized workshop material is required.

The line of screens R-Racer is the product of Puig’s long experience in competition, working with the best teams from MotoGP: Repsol Honda Team and also WorldSBK: Kawasaki Racing Team, to develop the best screens for your sports motorcycle.
The R-Racer screens are designed for you to have a perfect vision through and to be more aerodinamically efficient than the stock screens, they are tested in a virtual wind tunnel to improve the aerodynamic coeficient (Cx) and thanks to their taller height, it deflects the wind that otherwise would hit the rider’s helmet and shoulders.
Designed and manufactured in Barcelona, with the most advanced technologies, with high impact acrylic of 3mm, we come up with a very strong piece, light, durable and with a rounded edge of 2mm (accomplishing thesafety control from the German TÜV). The artificial vision system utilized during the quality control process guarantees that the screens will get to the client in perfect shape.
Instalation of the screen doesn’t require aditional parts like trims and every screen comes with an in depth aerodynamic study that indicates the improvement in performance as well as the protection to the rider.
