The New Generation Touring Puig windshield for the new YAMAHA MT-09 is primarily designed to offer excellent protection for the rider's torso. Its design is characterized by a central surface that extends from the headlight to the end of the windshield.

The two protruding side surfaces complement this structure, achieving a harmonious integration with the headlight and allowing the two characteristic ribs of the original front piece to be seen. The side contours of the windshield add an aggressive touch to the design, following the lines of the original MT-09 cover. These side surfaces create channels that efficiently deflect the air impacting the front of the motorcycle.

Additionally, the lower area of the windshield perfectly adapts to the shapes of the headlight, giving the impression of a uniform front set.

The windshield is available in several colors: dark smoked, light smoked, transparent, and black, allowing the rider to customize their motorcycle according to their aesthetic preferences.

Designed in Barcelona, using the most advanced technology, the New Generation Touring windshield is made of high-impact acrylic material 3mm thick and 3mm metal supports with a textured black anti-corrosion coating. Its dimensions are 285mm wide by 390mm high. The windshield extends 175mm beyond the speedometer.

The aerodynamic study reveals that the Puig Touring windshield reduces aerodynamic pressure on the rider by 43% compared to the original configuration. This significant reduction is mainly noticeable in the chest area, greatly improving rider comfort during riding.

Installing the piece is an easy, quick, and simple task: it will take no more than 20 minutes.

It is recommended to periodically check the tightness of the screws.

Along with the piece, the assembly instructions and the aerodynamic study are included.

If you have a naked-type motorcycle with non-round headlights, the new generation of Puig windshields will be the best complement for your machine.

The assembly of the new windshield is a very easy task that comes with instructions. It is intuitive and visual, to facilitate the placement of the new fairing.
