The Puig NG Touring screen for the new BMW S1000R / M1000R 25’ is designed primarily to increase rider torso protection without compromising the sporty character of the motorcycle.

The central surface has been aerodynamically studied to provide improved protection for the rider while reducing the most disturbing turbulence generated by the original screen.

The central lower cut has been designed to allow the airflow reaching the front of the motorcycle to continue its natural path without affecting the aerodynamic performance of the BMW S1000R.

This screen is inspired by “Kaza”-type aircraft, visible in the diagonal edges that, in addition to increasing structural rigidity, evoke the wings of these aircraft and visually act as small deflectors that help divert air away from the rider’s torso.

The diagonal surfaces that give the screen its aggressive character follow the design lines around the headlight area of the S1000R, achieving perfect aesthetic integration. This results in a screen that combines sporty styling with the protective functionality sought by riders who choose a touring screen.

The lower and side lines of the screen adapt perfectly to the new front end of the S1000R, improving lateral protection and ensuring a precise fit around the headlight.

Available in clear, light smoke, dark smoke, gloss black and matte black.

Manufactured from high-quality 3 mm high-impact acrylic, ensuring durability, resistance and lightness.

Overall dimensions are 320 mm wide, 455 mm high and 95 mm deep.

Installation is simple. The user must mount the screen using the supplied brackets following the instructions provided.

The Puig Touring screen extends 215 mm above the instrument cluster, providing a significant improvement in wind protection.

Aerodynamic studies show that with the original screen the rider experiences 6.2 kg of air pressure, while with the Touring screen this is reduced to 1.8 kg, representing a 71% improvement. This difference is especially noticeable around the chest area.

Reducing wind pressure while riding results in greater comfort, less fatigue and therefore safer riding.

The assembly of the new windshield is a very easy task that comes with instructions. It is intuitive and visual, to facilitate the placement of the new fairing.
